Micro-terrazzo floor system

The look of terrazzo, poured in a single layer.

  • Prepared concrete substrate — Diamond ground flat and clean; cracks and holes opened, filled slightly high and ground flush.
  • Terrazzino Moisture Vapor Control — Moisture vapor barrier. Required on all slab-on-grade work and any application directly over concrete. Thickness: 20 mils (planning). Alternative: Over eligible non-porous surfaces only: Terrazzino Fast Set Primer (300 sq ft/gal planning). The primer is not a moisture barrier.
  • Terrazzino High Build Epoxy — 100% solids pigmented epoxy matched to the blend; sets the background tone and seals pinholes. Thickness: 20 mils (planning).
  • Terrazzino micro-terrazzo — Self-leveling clear epoxy binder with Terrazzino aggregate, spread at 60 mils with a 50–60 mil notched squeegee or wire gauge rake, then loop-rolled. Thickness: 60 mils (target).
  • Terrazzino Topcoat or Cera finish — Urethane topcoat for wear, chemical and UV protection — or Terrazzino Cera polymer finish for maintained floors. Thickness: 2–3 mils urethane (planning).
